The solar panel serves as the source of energy for the included motor. To store this energy, a battery is supplied with the kit. In order to regulate the motor’s speed, a controller is also provided. Fortunately, this kit arrives ready for easy assembly and preparation; no tools are necessary.

The assembly of this device is comprised of a polycrystalline silicon solar panel that generates 0.5 volts and 150 watts, a brushed Direct Current motor that produces 12 volts with 100 watts of power, and a 12 volt, 7 amp hour lead-acid battery. The brain of this machine is the Pulse Width Modulation controller.
